We, the 2 Nomads, are Uli and André by name, two hiking and travelling enthusiasts who want to explore beautiful places according to our possibilities and describe to you "our view of this beautiful world" in this blog.

We both live in the beautiful town of Ansfelden in beautiful Upper Austria.
We are united by our love of good food and drink, the mountains and especially the sea.

Uli is the creative part of our contributions, takes almost all the photos and corrects the texts.
Furthermore, she is a bookworm who devours books as if they were warm rolls. To keep the load of our Hofrat within limits, she now reads on an eBook reader. Since her youth, Uli has always spent her holidays at campsites, mainly in Croatia. As a mother of 2 children, she loves to cook, but also enjoys the cuisine of the country we visit.

Andre, also father of 2 descendants, worked for a large service company until more than half a year ago and has since taken a well-deserved "un" retirement. He is the craftsman part of the Nomads, who is now working intensively with a vast amount of patience to implement the expansion of our Mr. Hofrat. He has always possessed an appropriate number of machines and equipment to be able to realise such a project. The texts and photos concerning the extension of our van come almost exclusively from him.
He inherited his love of camping from Uli.

The destinations of our joint retirement will be trips to the most diverse countries in Europe.
In the process, we want to travel to the coasts of the seas, walk hiking trails and climb peaks, visit cities, taste the country's specific food and enjoy life to the fullest.
