Our concept thrives on an appreciative cooperation between travellers and farmers, so that everyone benefits from Schau aufs Land profit positively & nice experiences can collect.
Therefore, it is important for us that you read the following eight points well and stick to them. If you breach these rules, we reserve the right to cancel your membership.
Arrival/Departure
As max. 2 days in advance, if a spot is free for you. An arrival without prior contact is not permitted!
Please greet your hosts on arrival and show your digital membership card . Say goodbye in person or with a message.
No guarantee
Your hosts only have a limited number of camping pitches. If these spots are already taken or not available at the moment for any other reason, we ask you to contact the next partner business of Schau aufs Land close by.
Communication
Listen to what your host has to say and if in doubt, ask again how you should act with respect the nature and animals around you and what rules apply for the use of services offered.
Cancel: Please inform your hosts on time if you won't be coming after all.
Appreciation
Show your gratitude for the hospitality with a purchase at the farm or by using other offers there. Another option is a voluntary contribution . In addition to a peaceful spot for a night you can get food produced freshly and with love and get insights into their origins - so actually, a win-win situation.
Environment
Never leave your rubbish, cigarette butts, waste water or anything similar at the pitch! Please always leave the spot as you found it – or even cleaner – and protect the nature around you. For black or grey water, please use the official disposal areas.
Safety
Please consider that on a farm there may equipment or animals that could be dangerous, to you or to children. Please take care accordingly and when in doubt, ask your hosts for clarity.
Respect
Please remember, you are on holiday, but your hosts need to work. Please respect the rules of the farm – especially regarding advance notification, arrival & rest days . Please don't make excessive noise and respect the privacy of your hosts.
Responsibility
All of us together contribute to the spirit of Schau aufs Land . It is also your responsibility to create a positive stay for yourself and create a space for many more positive experiences for other travelers. Please take this responsibility seriously, so all can enjoy added value in future through Schau aufs Land .
